How much clearance do you need to leave when arranging storage shelves?

When planning and layout of storage shelves, how much is the gap between shelves appropriate? Are there any relevant provisions? Is there a different spacing between the use of an electric forklift and the use of a stacker? There are no certain requirements for the sorting of storage shelves? If the storage shelves of the warehouse at this stage are side by side and leave a safe passage in the middle, can it be changed to leave a safe passage on one side? And how wide should the safe passage be left in the middle? I don't know about the warehouse, but I have already done relevant engineering projects. The inspection found that the utilization rate of the warehouse is too low. What should I do?
We will answer the above questions today:
1., according to the layout of the warehouse, where should the outlet be located? What type of forklift is used in the warehouse? This should be considered first. The warehouse depends not only on the area of the warehouse, but also on whether the storage of goods saves time and effort. One kind of shelf is installed along the direction of 45 meters, and the other kind of shelf is installed along the direction of 9.5 meters.
2. if the warehouse needs to use forklifts or trucks, there is no need to put up shelves in the middle. If the goods are manually accessed, generally between 80 and 120mm. If the forklift is used for operation, it is necessary to retain at least about 2 meters. This is relative to the smallest forklift. It is therefore recommended to maintain 2 m 4 or 2 m 6. This should be no problem.
According to the specific situation, the 3. contains the goods stored on the storage shelves, and the access equipment, such as electric forklifts, must be confirmed by rotating intervals.
Under normal circumstances, it is about 2 meters. If there is an electric forklift, it depends on the model and specification of the electric forklift. If it is a large and medium-sized electric forklift in China, it will be 4 meters long. If it is a small forklift or only a hydraulic trailer, then 2.5 meters to 3 meters is enough.
4., if there is no standardized spacing between storage shelves, the general confirmation methods are:
1. If the actual operation is carried out in a full manual manner, the spacing between the storage spaces shall exceed the total width of the larger packages commonly used on the storage space by 20cm;
2. If the bottom end of the cargo space is a pallet, the top layer is stored manually, and the distance between cargo spaces is 20cm in rotatable diameter of the "manual forklift pallet;
3. If the cargo space is accessed by an electric forklift, the spacing between the cargo spaces is the rotatable diameter turning commercial insurance spacing of "tray on the electric forklift.
If the 5. warehouse uses fuel forklift, the distance between warehouses is the rotatable diameter reversal safety distance of "fuel forklift placing pallet.
Generally speaking, it can be calculated according to the above situation, but it is better to set it at different inventory distances, so as to effectively save inventory space, improve storage rate and warehouse management efficiency.
