Gravity shelf is a storage shelf evolved from pallet shelf. It consists of a plurality of unpowered rollers with slope to form a slide. Goods can slide from high to low on the rollers, thus realizing the FIFO storage mode of high-end storage and low-end storage. Because it is mainly composed of rollers arranged in the slideway, it is generally called a roller shelf.

The tray separation mechanism is set at the bottom to separate the two adjacent pallets at the lowest end, ensure that the delivery port tray can be taken out smoothly, the storage mode is first-in-first-out, the shelf depth and number of layers can be determined according to the demand, which is suitable for the storage of large quantities of similar goods, with convenient management and high space utilization.
The working principle of gravity shelf is that each cargo compartment is a slideway with a certain slope. Each slideway can hold several cargo units. The high end of the shelf slideway is the storage end and the low end is the delivery end. When warehousing, the stacker or forklift will feed the cargo unit into the warehousing end, and the cargo unit slides from the warehousing end to the outbound end under the action of gravity until it slides to the outbound end or behind the existing cargo unit; When it is necessary to exit the warehouse, a stacker or forklift will take the first cargo unit at the exit end, and the subsequent cargo unit will slide down to the first cargo position at the exit end.
The biggest point of gravity shelves is the storage method, which allows goods to be deposited from the high end, slid to the low end, and taken out from the low end. During the sliding of goods, a damper is arranged on the slideway to control the sliding speed of goods to keep it within a safe range. A separator is arranged at the delivery end of the slide, and the transfer machine can smoothly take out the goods in the first plate orientation. At the same time, goods follow the order of first-in, first-out. The shelf has a high storage density and has a flexible cooperative function. It is suitable for storage operations with pallets as carriers. The goods warehouse is regular, which provides a better solution for the storage of large and heavy objects. The utilization rate of storage space is above 75%, and only one gravity shelf in the loading and unloading channel is required. It is very environmentally friendly. All gravity shelves are powered by non-power methods, with no energy consumption, low noise, safety and reliability, and can operate at full load.
